Any kind of business can be found here. However, I do not think the "bride sales" are very high. In Communist times, many of Soviet women would marry a nigger if it meant getting to America... But now Russian girls (especially girls living in Moscow and other large cities) are rather fastidious. They usually hope to find a rich fiance here in Russia. Then, everyone heard unsuccessful stories about international marriages (the main problems are cultural differences and lost illusions). However, some silly provincial babies may still have fantasies about "American prince".

My personal attitude to this "business" is not to create obstacles to them. There is no way to dispel woman's illusions other than through her own experience.
